About
I work with individuals seeking support for everything from emotional distress to navigating life transitions, including those living with depression, anxiety, PTSD, psychosis, bipolar disorder, substance use disorders, and chronic medical conditions. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, facing a tough decision, managing a health diagnosis, or simply wanting a space to better understand yourself, I tailor each session to reflect your goals, values, and needs.
My practice is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based treatments. I take a holistic approach to therapy, considering your emotional and cognitive experiences as well as the role of physical health, social support, and the demands of everyday life.

Clinical Training
My academic training emphasized the connection between psychological and physical health, with a focus on how chronic medical conditions can affect emotional well-being, behavior, and relationships. I gained a strong foundation in understanding how diagnoses like chronic pain, diabetes, cancer, and cardiovascular disease shape mood, identity, and daily life. This training highlighted the importance of integrated, person-centered care that considers the whole person — not just their symptoms.

My clinical training included working with individuals facing medical and mental health challenges at the Parnes Clinic; supporting college students at Brooklyn College; treating substance use disorders at the Metropolitan Center for Mental Health; and providing therapy and neuropsychological assessment at Nassau University Medical Center. Additionally, I conducted diagnostic interviews and cognitive assessments as part of clinical research studies at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

I completed my clinical training as an intern at the Brooklyn VA Medical Center, specializing in treating Veterans with a wide range of psychiatric disorders through individual, group, and couples psychotherapy and providing neuropsychological assessment.

Finally, I worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Canandaigua VA Medical Center. My work included conducting research on suicide prevention in Veterans, providing psychotherapy for individuals with PTSD and related challenges, and conducting neuropsychological assessments.
